Note from Jake Jaxson: When Andy Warhol was given one of the first portable video recorders for consumers -- to replace his iconic Polaroid camera -- he was in love from the start. At that time, he correctly predicted that everyday people (the consumers) would mostly use camcorders to make homemade pornos... if only he could see xTube now! Today's update excites me because it was born from the creative New York spirit that I love, what drew me here, and what I'm even trying to reconnect to today. And it fits right in with that Warholian prediction of "every man's a pornographer!" I gave our newest production team a camera, some lights, and our Williamsburg studios, and told them to bring back something fun, different, sexy and creatively their own.
