L'Avarice is the first-ever vignette of the Algocep series, and deals with avaerice - the first-ever of the seven capital sins. At the end of the 19th century, a youthful village priest in deepest France, driven by wine, gold and boys, manhandles his pose to exploit the skimpy and steal from them in the name of God, promising to save their souls with penance in kind. Its 1878 in Perigord, and Julot - a youthful beggar - is despoiled by the obscene and hungry village priest. To recover his utter purse, Julot must pay with his soul at the presbytery at sunset. The pious deacon, the groom from the chateau and the Sri Lankan enslaved all contribute to him getting justice when an accident happens. Under the heaving fever of a country summer, the corporal vigour of these blossoming youthful guys sparkes through, no holds barred, in an unrivalled inborn setting!
