Filmed on location in Fresh York City's infamous dungeon space fuck-fest pub El Mirage, Whiplash is one hell of a dirty fuck-fest video from director and starlet Ray Dragon. With an unbelievable perceive of mood (the lighting and soundscape design are fairly effective), a cast of really messy pigmen and armed with an arsenal of kinky antics, Mr. Dragon sighs fire (the fuck-fest scorches in spots) and smoke (literally) into this jaunt. There's no storyline to speak of, and no central "character" to follow. The video is a tour into the dark nether regions of the mid and loins, as we experience flagellating and flagellating (Dragon's fairly the Indiana Jones expert), cigar smoke fuck-fest (courtesy of Asoka), a heart-jumping group bang, anal exploring and licking, threeways, groupways, and in the Director's Cut version a gut-wrenching handballing and dildo-ing (very spoken and graphic stuff here) and a highly powerful watersports sequence. The sight of the video is remarkably professional: moody lighting, dark music and excellent but not intrusive videography all lend to making this feel satisfyingly depraved. Pacing is a bit off here and there (some odd choices in cutting) but the editing is seamless, and it's fairly evident that Dragon is just as comfortable behind the camera as he is in front of it. Speaking of which Dragon looks sensational here, and fans are going to enjoy his unshaven body-hair capped off with a leather cap. The word "woof" was devised for him. The Director's Cut version runs over 2½ hours lengthy (very generous) and is split up over 2 discs. The main bonus feature is a 12-minute pic gallery (which has some highly uber-cute images). I would have luved to have seen a featurette or 2 on the making of the video. Since being a model-cum-director on location in Fresh York is decidedly different from filming on a set in West Hollywood, hearing from Dragon himself would have been nice. Still, this is a highly well done effort, and fans of kink and hard-edged all-male fuck-fest activity will be fairly content. It's one of those flicks that holds up with repeat viewings, and definitely does its job. Whiplash is no accident - get into it as shortly as you can.
