Apprentice Roux is one of our most favored and fortunate apprentices. The masters are universal in their praise for the boy, and he’s expected to graduate with flying colors. 3 masters—Snow, Stone and I—have collective equal responsibility for him. Each of us has focussed on a different aspect of his training, using differing methods to bring out the highly greatest in him. Often, an apprentice is trained on a rigorously one-to-one basis, but Apprentice Roux’s instructing has been somewhat unique in the amount of group work we have done.
