The first, and least important, is that its just not believable as docu-drama; film directors -- even in the porno industry -- just dont sit around all day on the set nude, pulling their weenies. A more serious problem is that, as it is on a real-life porno set, the sex here is imperal and businesslike; Thad is offered a part on condition that he can deliver an swelling on cue and hold it for a confident length of time. One longs for a duo of the beach fellows to get so involved in enthusiasm that they knock over and pulverize a camera, get fired, and keep on fucking anyway, but that never happens.
