Route Sixty nine is another old school pre-condom video from director William Higgins. This is a tear from the DVD and the quality is highly good, considering that this was first-ever shot on film and then afterwards transferred to video. This has always been one of my beloved Higgins films. The film is freely organized around a road journey that greatest buddies Mike Ramsey and Mike Gibson take on (what else?) Route 69. As we join them on this trip, we observe a bath that turns into molten fireside fuck, helped along by a lil' baby oil, 2 buddies who smoke a joint together, then take turns on each others joints, a fraternity initiation that turns into a full-fledged orgy, and finally, a romantically-lit encounter inbetween our 2 starlets in their motel bedroom at the end of their trip. All in all, a journey well worth taking.
