The desert fever is not kind; it tests the power and allegiance of even the most expert warrior. Our very first warrior, Viktor Perseo, wanders off by himself determined to find the jewels, thereby gaining the favor of the king and the prize all to himself. But the fever is oppressive, even for Viktor, and he gives way to exhaustion.Just then, he sees a youthful nomad not far away, nodding to him with a pail of water. Momentarily energized by the prospect of water, he heads after the man and comes upon an oasis where the youthful nomad, Sergio Anthony, lays waiting with a bath of water. Viktor is elated by the prospect of survival and resumes to smooch Sergio in appreciation.
