It’s indeed difficult to witness one of your Scouts having a hard time on their first-ever excursion away from home. Your heart just heads out to them. On one hand, you know it’s necessary; it’s all part of getting bigger up and becoming a confident, independent young man. But on the other, you know they’re perceiving homesick and timid and unconfident and basically wishing they were anywhere other than in the middle of a woods with a plenty of of conclude strangers! When I witness a man in trouble, I always try to take him under my wing. I find the time to suspend out with him and instruct him a few lil' tricks and hacks so he can view knowledgeable and marvelous in front of the other boys.
