I enjoy it when an apprentice gets within rubbin' distance of being accepted into the order. His teaching is essentially complete. He’s learned the rules. He knows who he is. He knows why he’s here and he knows where he’s going. And as masters, we’re really just fine-tuning him and double-checking that he’s really prepared for his graduation. I was paired up with Tormentor Stone to oversee Apprentice Devall’s Intimate Priesthood Interview and was hugely satiated on both counts. I’ve seen youthful Devall thru many of his bimbo seasons; the times when he was a rookie recruit with such an intensely wayward streak that we needed to whip out all the stops simply to steer him back on track. These troublesome guys in my practice go in one of 2 ways; they either push it so far they get themselves thrown out of the order, or they pull things together and become phenomenal apprentices. Devall, fortunately, fell into the latter camp. In fact, in the relatively brief pms of time I’ve been in the order, I’ve not known a youthful man who’s generated such arousal within the masters. It has been a excellent privilege to have fun such a key role in his training.
