While "Heroes" has a superb concept going for it, the 1984 flick falls vapid thanks to gutless dicks, bad acting, and immensely incompetent editing. The premise is simple, a professor teaches his class to write a paper about their hero. This leaves guest room for lots of fantasies involving hero worship. However, none of the scenes catch fire. First, Danny Connors fantasies of his hero, rock starlet Rick Donovan. The latter gets the total fog machine therapy here, and he even lip-syncs a song that evidently only he can hear. Connors showcases up, eats Donovan up and down, and inhales him off. They then budge to Connors bedroom, where hefty dicked Donovan tops. The rest of the flick is a wash. We get a botched fantasy involving a pair of siblings who have fucky-fucky -- too bad one of them can't get hard, and neither can act. Later, the junior of the pair ravages a man college girl in the library, but we're pretty sure he didn't truly top (his dick was too gentle and too petite to do anything with). Next, a gig with manly baseball player Tim Kramer (clearly the greatest guy in the video) starts off great, but fastly falls apart. While Jim Bentley and his pal do a excellent job frolicking the eager youthfull worshippers willing to do anything for Kramer, the gig gets cut off in the middle of the fellatio act and then leaps to the last, downright unrelated, scene of the film. (Did the footage get lost somewhere? Was the editor tipsy when he cobbled this together?) Regardless, the final gig is a four-way with the teacher, Cole Taylor. Unfortunately, since we are thrown into the gig mid-way through, we have no idea why they are fucking. Sigh. Unless you are a die-hard Rick Donovan fan, or, you have a hankerin' for Tim Kramer, it's hottest to skip this tape.
