My name is Scoutmaster Barrett and I was elected a leader in the scout program last year. It was something I had always wished to do. Scouts were an integral part of my youth and I had some of my most never-to-be-forgotten practices under the large sky. I think I wished to relive some of my adventures and make sure that a new generation was uncovered to the world beyond the sedentary worlds of computer games. My inability to fully distance myself from my boys has been one of the problems I've encountered in my new leadership role. Once I don the uniform, I sense instantaneously transported back in my youth. Instead of perceiving like an authority figure, I want to be part again of the gang.
