Max Richardson (Dillon Diaz), a school Dean, also appeared late to the airport and might miss his flight. Both folks arrive just as the flat is taking off. Shadow, who is visibly stressed out, takes out his smartphone to call his wife. Max calmly finds a lounge to wait in until the next flight out. John joins Max a few mins later. While in the lounge the folks share a few flirtatious looks and compliments with each other. This peaks John's curiosity and he boldly asks Max a question, but not just any question.
