William Higgins' old school Class Reunion is worth another look. It was rather experimental in that there's no real storyline holding it together, save for a short intro and outro. The print used is in Highly superb shape, with Highly few artifacting moments. It's a tad dark in catches view of even tho it was shot in the sun-splashed outdoors; this is Highly likely more due to the film stock than the transfer. Our review appears below. I desire I had graduated with this group, lemme tell ya! Just about every tanned, youthfull and strung up buffboy ambling the globe (or who had at least made an appearance of some sort in a William Higgins film) seemed to have shown up on the set of this non-stop poolside orgy. What about the plot? Zero. There ain't one. Like it matters, right? Class Reunion is packed with red-hot boys (plenty of blondes, too) and non-stop sexual postures and the like. watch for the sequence that appears about 25 mins in which a wayward puppy - a real dog, that is - strolls onto the poolside set, sniffs around, eats its chops, and then quickly moves out of frame. Highly funny. The old school finale is just that - a classic. The camera pans around the entire pool and the entire cast is lounging on their side gargling off the stud in front of them. It's indeed an unbelievable view to behold. Some of the photography is a tad too off its mark sometimes (hard to watch with all that's going on) but again... it doesn't indeed matter. This one has both its frenzied worshippers and admirers, as well as those who think it's a cheapskate type of trick from the director. I'm in the prior camp - Higgins' Class Reunion is a old school of the genre, and should definitely be seen.
