Beyond Perfect, from sir director Jerry Douglas, lives up to its titular promise, no surprise there given his resume ("The Back Row," "BuckleRoos," "Jock-a-Holics," et al.). With alpha masculines Brad Patton and Ja Kingsley as flip-flopping lovers, the title could have easily been 'The Finest Damn Flip-Flop in Porno History ... Menstruation '(their chemistry across is palpable, and menaces to leap off the screen in the flip-flop finale). But this is Mr. Douglas, and as such it is a movie for both brains (the one inbetween the ears, as well as the one inbetween the legs, fellas). Both leads acquit themselves nicely, as far as the acting goes, with a storyline that deals with how to keep a great man, and, specifically, how to make 2 big-dicked tops happy.
