Today I'm proud to unleash The Banker, part one of the 5 part miniseries Answered Prayers. Part one starlets the stand-out CockyBoys off the hook performers Jake Bass and Ricky Roman, with a delicious cameo by Max Carter-- don't worry, you'll be witnessing a lot more of Max in the upcoming films! I was recently asked what Answered Pleas is about. My answer was simple: Fear... Fear's devastating force and what it takes to hit it. It's a highly intimate project for me. Earlier this year, when I was perceiving my own experiencing of success and triumph, I still had these lil' expresses inwards my head murmuring and trying to tempt me into deeds based on fear, upset, and anger. At night, occasionally I'd lull myself to sleep devising more and more intricate ways to "get even" or exact vengeance on someone that's wronged me-- come on, we've all done it! You know: those hellish fantasizes involving a co-worker, an over-zealous dance mom, your father or sibling. Have you ever wondered where those lil' voice in your head come from? The ones that have the force keep us OUT of grief and so oftentimes get us INTO trouble? Oh, these voices-- how they dance around inwards our goes and coo appetizing nothings in our ear. They encourage and justify our every move, toying on our finest hopes and dreads like a harp from hell. Answered Pleas is my answer to those emotions-- those feelings that can bring out the grossest sides of ourselves. Each of the 5 films are based on a human archetype:
